Anthony Buscaino
Blazing Editions has had the wonderful opportunity to work with Anthony Buscaino on his first Solo Exhibition. Buscaino's show is from a trip that he took to Rome, Italy during his senior year of college. He took a black and white film class that he was able to learn a different perspective from with capturing photographs.
Last Spring, Buscaino pulled out those films and start his journey toward the solo exhibition, "Perso a Roma". As a third-generation Italian-American, he felt disconnected from his heritage despite the efforts of preserving the traditions. Buscaino has made it his goal through his work to learn more about the Italian heritage and language. He experienced many firsts, mistakes, and successes through his expedition and hopes that this exhibition is memorable to all you come and see.
Anthony's works consist of multiple aluminum prints with sizes ranging from 18x27" to 30x45". The prints are mounted on Black Sintra and Float Silver Backing, thus giving a 'floating' look to the prints on the wall. Buscaino chose to have the pieces stand alone unframed, focusing all attention on nothing but the imagery captured.
