Jonathan & Angela Scott

Jonathan and Angela are award-winning wildlife photographers and authors who have made their name, documenting the lives of lions, leopards, and cheetahs in the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. They record their existence in their drawings, photographs, and wildlife television programs.

As individuals, they are the only couple to have won the Overall Award in the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition. Jonathan and Angela have written and illustrated 34 books, including their award-winning children’s titles for Collins Big Cat. Their latest books are The Big Cat Man: An Autobiography (Bradt) and Sacred Nature: Life’s Eternal Dance (HPH), which won the Gold Award for Photography in the prestigious Independent Publishers Book Awards in 2017.

About THE Exhibition

Angela and Jonathan Scott, internationally acclaimed wildlife photographers and authors, have dedicated their careers to capturing the essence of African wildlife through their stunning photography and compelling storytelling.  

Angela and Jonathan are delighted to announce their new project, Sacred Nature: Wild Africa. This project showcases a collection of breathtaking images captured worldwide, illuminating the beauty and fragility of our planet’s wild inhabitants. From Amboseli’s majestic elephants to the Maasai Mara’s elusive leopards, their photographs offer a rare glimpse into the richness of Africa’s wildlife and the urgent need to protect their natural habitats. 

​Their groundbreaking contribution to the BBC’s Big Cat Diary series, and more recently as presenters of Big Cat Tales for Animal Planet, opened a window into the lives of big cats in Kenya’s Maasai Mara for millions of viewers worldwide.
